Principal BIM Modeler - Electrical

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare general and emergency lighting layouts including switching, control systems, and lighting coordination.
• Develop HV and LV power routing layouts including main, sub-main, and final circuit containment systems.
• Create electrical power schematic diagrams for building services and infrastructure projects.
• Design earthing and lightning protection schematics including foundation earthing systems.
• Prepare fire alarm and public address (PA) system schematics and layout drawings.
• Develop integrated Fire Alarm and PA system layouts in coordination with architectural and MEP designs.
• Perform BIM modeling of electrical systems using Revit and related tools as primary design platform.
• Detect, review, and resolve clashes between electrical systems and other building disciplines (mechanical, structural, architectural).
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and conflict-free design solutions.
• Support model updates, revisions, and ensure accuracy of BIM deliverables throughout project lifecycle.
• Contribute to design documentation aligned with project standards and client requirements.
• Maintain model integrity and ensure compliance with project BIM execution plans.
