What You'll Do
- Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Teradata core database architectures for large-scale enterprise environments.
- Drive performance tuning, workload management, and ensure high availability and reliability of database systems.
- Implement best practices for data governance, integrity, and security, ensuring compliance with Indian and global standards.
- Act as a subject matter expert, influencing strategic decisions and mentoring peers within the Hyderabad team and across global teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, analytics, infrastructure) to deliver innovative and scalable data solutions.
- Stay updated on emerging database technologies and recommend enhancements to maintain technical leadership.
- Encourage best practices, foster collaboration, and champion continuous improvement initiatives that elevate team performance.
- Inspire Through Vision: Communicate a clear roadmap for technical innovation and team growth, motivating peers to embrace new challenges and opportunities
- Build credibility by consistently delivering high-impact solutions and demonstrating deep technical expertise, earning trust across teams.

What Makes You a Qualified Candidate
- 10+ years of experience in database engineering or architecture
- Advanced knowledge of database internals, SQL optimization, and workload management.
- Expertise in Optimizer and query performance tuning.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
