Job Title: Principal Architect

Key Responsibilities

️ Architecture & Systems Design (Primary)

Own end-to-end system architecture across:

Web platforms

Mobile apps

APIs & integrations

AI pipelines & agents

Design scalable, modular, multi-tenant systems

Define architectural standards, patterns, and guardrails

Review and approve critical design and tech decisions

Ensure systems are secure, performant, and cost-efficient

AI & Applied Intelligence (Core Focus)

● Architect and implement production-grade AI systems, including:

○ LLM integrations (OpenAI, Anthropic, open-source)

○ Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)

○ Vector databases & embeddings

○ AI agents and orchestration workflows

● Drive AI use cases such as:

○ Intelligent search & recommendations

○ AI copilots & assistants

○ Workflow automation

● Optimize latency, cost, reliability, and observability of AI systems

● Stay current with AI advancements and translate them into real business value

‍ Engineering Execution & Quality

● Remain hands-on with code and system design

● Lead architecture reviews and complex implementations

● Set standards for:

○ Code quality

○ API design

○ Database modeling

○ Testing and monitoring

● Reduce technical debt while maintaining delivery speed

Technical Leadership & WFO Collaboration

● Mentor senior engineers and tech leads

● Act as technical decision-maker across teams

● Collaborate daily with Product, Design, and Business teams on-site

● Guide hiring decisions for senior engineering roles

️ Required Technical Expertise

AI & Systems (Must-Have)

● Deep experience with LLMs and applied AI

● RAG architectures, vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Qdrant, etc.)

● AI agents, tools, and orchestration frameworks

● Prompt engineering, evaluation, and guardrails

● Experience shipping AI features to production

Core Engineering Stack

● Frontend: React, Next.js, React Native

● Backend: Node.js (NestJS / Express / Hono)

● Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis

● APIs: REST, WebSockets, GraphQL (nice to have)

● Cloud & DevOps: AWS / GCP, Docker, CI/CD, IaC

● Auth & Payments: OAuth, JWT, Stripe or similar
