Primary Maths & Science Teacher for
Grades 1 to 5. The ideal candidate should be skilled in delivering concept-based learning through engaging, age-appropriate, and activity-oriented teaching methods aligned with the ICSE curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Mathematics and Science to students of Grades 1 to 5 as per ICSE guidelines
- Plan and deliver interactive and structured lesson plans
- Develop basic numeracy, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills in Mathematics
- Introduce scientific concepts through experiments, observations, and hands-on activities
- Use teaching aids, worksheets, models, and digital tools to enhance learning
- Assess students progress through classwork, homework, tests, and projects
- Maintain academic records and prepare progress reports
- Create a safe, disciplined, and positive classroom environment
- Provide individual attention and support to students as needed
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding students academic progress
- Participate in school meetings, trainings, and co-curricular activities
Eligibility & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Science / Mathematics or related field
- B.Ed / D.Ed mandatory
- Minimum 24 years of teaching experience (ICSE experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of primary-level pedagogy
