We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic
Primary Maths & Science Teacher to teach students from
Grade 1 to Grade 3. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge and the ability to make learning engaging, interactive, and age-appropriate.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics and Science lessons for Grades 1–3.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, activities, projects, and assessments.
- Use activity-based, experiential, and inquiry-based learning methods.
- Develop students basic mathematical, logical, problem-solving, and scientific thinking skills.
- Conduct hands-on activities, demonstrations, and simple experiments suitable for young learners.
- Use differentiated teaching strategies according to students learning abilities.
- Integrate technology and creative teaching resources into classroom learning.
- Assess students progress through classwork, assignments, activities, and assessments.
- Provide regular and constructive feedback to students.
- Maintain a positive, safe, and engaging classroom environment.
- Encourage curiosity, creativity, questioning, and independent learning.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding students academic progress.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and actively participate in school events and activities.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mathematics, Science, Education, or a related field.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
- Prior experience teaching Grade 1 to Grade 3 will be preferred.
- Experience with the Cambridge/IGCSE curriculum will be an advantage.
- Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong classroom management and lesson-planning abilities.
- Creative and innovative approach to teaching young learners.
- Passionate about developing strong foundational skills in Mathematics and Science.
