Primary Maths & Science Teacher for
Grades 1 to 3, with
Mathematics as the major teaching subject. The ideal candidate will inspire curiosity, develop strong numeracy and scientific thinking skills, and create an engaging classroom environment that promotes inquiry-based learning in line with the Cambridge Primary Curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons for students in Grades 1–3 following the Cambridge Primary/IGCSE philosophy.
- Teach Primary Science through hands-on experiments, investigations, and inquiry-based learning.
- Foster conceptual understanding, logical reasoning, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Assess student learning through formative and summative assessments and maintain accurate academic records.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies into classroom instruction.
- Develop lesson plans, worksheets, learning resources, and assessment materials.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan interdisciplinary learning experiences.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, professional development programmes, and curriculum planning.
- Ensure the safety, well-being, and holistic development of every child.
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Science, or a related field.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification is mandatory.
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in Primary Mathematics and Science.
- Experience in Cambridge Primary/IGCSE curriculum will be preferred.
- Fresh candidates with excellent subject knowledge and strong communication skills may also be considered.
