Job Description
The English teacher is responsible for delivering engaging, comprehensive English language and literature lessons to students. The teacher will develop lesson plans, assess student progress, and create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that promotes learning and development.
Responsibilities
- Gathering learning materials, and resources and preparing lesson plans
- Setting and achieving curriculum objectives
- Analyzing and helping students work on their strengths and weaknesses
- Reviewing and evaluating students progress
- Attending parent-teacher meetings and discussing the student's growth
- Establishing a positive classroom learning environment
- Ensuring that the students have the appropriate learning aids and textbooks
- Organizing and accompanying students on field trips
- Attending staff meetings and participating in various training programs
- Helping students prepare for debates or any other extracurricular activities
- Maintaining an accurate record of students grades
- Assigning students projects and other internal assessment activities
- Keeping up-to-date with current events and happenings
Qualifications
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Empathic and good listener
- Ability to stand for long hours
- Highly motivated, creative, and detail-oriented individual
- Should have B.Ed. degree as qualification
Working Hours: 8:30 AM 4:00 PM
Working Days: 5.5 (Alternative Saturdays off)
