Pricing Lead, Software Engineering

Responsibilities & Impact

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex and scalable software systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new product features
• Ensure high standards of performance, quality, and responsiveness in applications
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of inclusion, learning, and engineering excellence
• Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards to ensure clean, maintainable code
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies, promoting innovation and incorporating best practices into the development lifecycle

Basic Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science & Engineering or Master's in Computer Applications (MCA)
• 10+ years of experience as a Software Development Engineer, with a strong foundation in Agile methodologies and Continuous Delivery
• Expertise in Java, with strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and low-level Java APIs such as Concurrency and Java NIO
• Hands-on experience with caching technologies (e.g., Apache Ignite, Apache Spark) and streaming data processing
• Proven ability to deliver robust, high-quality software solutions in complex environments

Additional Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and distributed computing architectures
• Strong problem-solving and debugging capabilities for resolving complex system issues
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience leading technical teams
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for streamlined development and deployment
