Job Description

The Pricing and Commercial Strategy team is recruiting a Senior Manager to support the development, adoption and governance of Key Strategic Commercial models. Develop and validation of pricing models, and preparation of analytics and reports to support commercial decision making.

This is an individual contributor role. The successful candidate will need in-depth LSEG data and system knowledge, and be able to demonstrate an understanding of complex systems, commercial acumen, strong modelling, and analysis skills, and have experience in synthesizing highly complex, imperfect information into clear presentations or reports which provide commercial options, trade-offs and recommendations.

Responsibilities:

  • Support a large growing global business by
  • Updating, maintaining, and evolving the strategic commercial models
  • Engage with cross-organisational stakeholders to provide pre-sales support and deal structuring
  • Collate requirements from business leadership to develop and build reporting capabilities to improve transparency
  • Provide insight into the book of business to provide leadership teams trend insight and strategic recommendations
  • Ancillary activities:
  • Build and maintain ETLs to source and normalise information from finance, order to cash, entitlement and usage systems
  • Conduct detailed strategic analysis to support commercial decision-making and evaluation of outcomes
  • Develop and maintain BI reports to enable the business to remain operational for internal stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain business reports communicating key metrics to senior stakeholders
  • Prepare proposals, recommendations, and best practice guides.
  • Provide ongoing support for large deal negotiations

Qualifications:

  • Strong statistical and financial modelling skills
  • Experience working in Snowflake and fluent in SQL
  • Python Experience (pandas, openpyxl, numpy)
  • Ability to manage multiple work streams to deadlines and with meticulous attention to detail
  • A degree or equivalent experience in economics, mathematics or a related field, or at least three years experience in a commercial role
