Bhoomi is building a farm-to-consumer supply chain across D2C, B2B, and quick-commerce channels. Pricing and margins are central to how we scale sustainably.
Role Objective
Support pricing and margin decisions across SKUs and channels by analyzing purchase prices, market prices, competitor benchmarks, and cost structures.
This role is about understanding how money is made or lost on every product.
Key Responsibilities
1. Purchase & Market Tracking
· Track daily purchase prices (mandi/vendor level)
· Monitor market prices and competitor pricing (QCOMs, local markets)
2. Cost & Margin Visibility
· Build SKU-level cost sheets:
o Purchase price
o Inward logistics
o Packaging
o Outward logistics
· Calculate gross margin per SKU and per channel
· Flag low-margin / loss-making products
3. Pricing Support
· Assist in SKU-level pricing decisions
· Support pricing across:
o D2C
o Subscription
o B2B
o Quick-commerce
4. Reporting & Insights
· Maintain daily/weekly:
o Margin reports
o Price comparisons
· Highlight anomalies and opportunities
· Work with Operations & Finance team to ensure costs are correctly recorded
5. Problem Solving (Core)
Work on real business questions:
· Why did margins drop this week
· Which SKUs are leaking margin
· Where can we increase price without impacting demand
