What You'll Do
- Safety First:Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.
- Operate the 300 ton press daily, ensuring reinforcement preparation, mold rubber preparation, and mold tool preheating are completed accurately to meet production standards.
- Monitor curing times and inspect produced parts to ensure they meet quality specifications, contributing to consistent product output.
- Follow all safety norms as per Weir Group EHS policy and WMI IMS Policy, actively participate in safety trainings and events, identify hazards, and ensure their closure to maintain a safe working environment.
- Manage materials efficiently during the manufacturing process, including handling and preparation tasks related to the press operation.
What You'll Bring
Must-haves:
- ITI Fitter qualification
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a press operator in manufacturing industries
- Ability to read technical drawings and basic knowledge of quality standards
- Strong safety awareness and commitment to workplace safety
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience operating mix mill machinery
- Basic computer skills for material handling and reporting
- Good communication skills including reading and writing
- Time management and self-improvement mindset
