Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the companys operational strategy, in alignment with the overall business goals and objectives.
  • Lead and manage all operational functions, including production, supply chain, logistics, and quality control.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization across all departments.
  • Streamline workflows and systems to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and evaluate operational performance.
  • Monitor and analyze data to make informed decisions and drive improvements.
  • Efficiently allocate and manage resources, including budgets, personnel, and equipment, to support business objectives.
  • Ensure resource availability and utilization meet demand requirements.
  • Collaborate with other executive leaders, including the CEO, CFO, and CMO, to drive the companys overall strategy and growth.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and accountability across departments.
  • Implement quality control measures and ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing operations team.
  • Provide mentorship and leadership to team members.
  • Identify opportunities for expansion, market penetration, and diversification.
  • Develop and execute growth strategies in alignment with the companys vision.
  • Lead change management initiatives and drive organizational agility.
  • Ensure smooth transitions during periods of change or growth.
  • Provide regular reports to the CEO and executive team on operational performance, achievements, and challenges.
  • Communicate operational strategies and priorities to stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (Masters degree or MBA is preferred).
  • Proven experience as a COO or in a senior operational leadership role, with a track record of improving operational efficiency and driving growth.
  • Strong understanding of operational processes, supply chain management, and quality control.
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking, with a focus on problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Financial acumen and budget management experience.
  • Change management and project management skills.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
