Kangaroo Kids Dooravani Nagar is North Bangalore's newest and largest preschool, designed to set new benchmarks in early childhood education. Our 10,000+ sq. ft. campus features a 2,000 sq. ft. play area, a 1,000 sq. ft. sand pit, premium wooden flooring, and a unique indoor courtyard all built to create a stimulating and nurturing learning environment.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Academic Coordinator to oversee day-to-day academic operations, ensure high-quality teaching standards, and foster collaboration between teachers, parents, and management. This role plays a critical part in delivering our mission of providing best-in-class early childhood education.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct teacher training, workshops, and quarterly performance reviews
• Ensure effective utilisation of teaching resources and assessment systems
• Plan and coordinate academic activities, events, and field trips
• Engage with parents, address queries, and support new admissions
• Work with the special needs department to implement inclusion practices
• Lead student workshops, assemblies, and co-curricular activities
• Maintain discipline and ensure smooth academic operations
• Prepare reports and liaise between staff and management

Qualifications and Experience

• Postgraduate with B.Ed. (ICSE/CBSE); CIDT or ECCE preferred
• Minimum 35 years of teaching and academic coordination/management experience
• Experience with ICSE/CBSE/IGCSE curriculum
• Strong knowledge of teaching methodologies and educational processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant education tools
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to lead teams effectively

Desirable

• Experience conducting workshops, co-curricular, or sports activities
• Postgraduate degree in Education/Educational Management
• 23 years in a senior coordinator/supervisory role
