Role: Technical Sales Consultant (Pre-Sales)
Work Location: Noida
Working Model: Initially remote, with the expectation that the resource may be required to work from the office on as-needed basis, such as during client visits or due to changes in company policy and norms.
Shift Timings: US / Canada Shift Time (6:00 PM to 3:00 AM, 7:00 PM to 4:00 AM IST Onwards)
Job Description:
The Technical Consultant role is a sales engineering position that requires:
- A solid understanding of one of the following solution areas: Connectivity, Unified Communications, Software Defined Wide Area Network (SDWAN) and Cyber Security technologies.
- The ability to collaborate effectively with sales professionals, internal operations and delivery teams, as well as TELUS business clients.
In partnership with the Sales team, you will work on low to medium complexity technical activities and solutions that address the business needs of customers across Canada.
Your responsibilities include:
- Leveraging expertise in one of the following solution areas:
- Connectivity: Business Internet, High Speed Internet Access, GPON: 4 Offshore
- Unified Communications: Business Connect (White Glove), MS Teams O365 + Bundle
- Software Defined Wide Area Network (SDWAN): TMNE Bundle, GoCo SDWAN: 4 Offshore
- Cyber Security: Managed Detection Response, Pentesting, E-mail Protection, Managed Awareness
- Working with internal TELUS stakeholders: (sales professionals, internal operations and delivery teams) throughout the solution development life cycle and supporting daily business execution.
- Working independently to manage end-to-end solution development of a specific solution set and day-to-day customer requests, such as Moves, Adds, and Changes (MACs).

- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills for both customer-facing and internal interactions.
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment.
- Solid technical writing skills.
- Confidence working in a sales-driven environment.
- Familiarity with TELUS systems and tools or a strong aptitude for learning them.
- Proficiency in Google Suite.
- Ability to articulate solutions benefits from both technical and financial perspectives.
- Demonstrated creativity and innovation in developing competitive, value-add solutions.
- Sales training/account planning experience is an asset.
- Post-secondary degree in engineering, computer science, technical diploma or equivalent experience;
- Certifications: One or more industry-recognized certifications are strong assets. (e.g., Cisco, Microsoft, AWS).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
