Role summary
A Backend Sales Executive supports the sales team by managing backend operations, analyzing sales data, updating tracker, fostering strong client relationships and taking follow-ups. They ensure smooth sales processes and contribute to business growth by providing vital support to the front-end sales team.
Key responsibilities-
- Managing customer databases and ensuring the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system is updated with accurate information.
- Providing administrative and operational support to the sales team, including handling inquiries, and resolving issues efficiently.
- Assisting in creating sales reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinating with various departments, such as production, design, and operations to ensure smooth project delivery and client satisfaction.
- Identify and research potential clients to generate new leads.
- Engage with prospects through various channels, such as phone calls and emails, to introduce our products/services.
- Qualify leads based on established criteria and prioritize opportunities for further engagement.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value proposition to potential clients.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop customized solutions and proposals tailored to client requirements.
- Provide support in preparing proposals, quotations, and contract documents.
Essential skills and qualifications-
- Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Sales Experience: Proven experience in backend sales support or a similar role, ideally within the civil architecture or construction industry, is highly valued.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with internal teams and external clients.
- Interpersonal Skills: The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with MS Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
- Organizational Skills: Attention to detail, the ability to manage databases, and effectively maintain accurate records.
