Overview
PointGuard AI is building the next generation AI Security and Governance Platform designed to help enterprises deploy AI safely, responsibly, and compliantly across clouds, models, and agent ecosystems.
We are looking for a Solutions Engineer (SE) in India to work closely with enterprise customers, partners, and the product team to demonstrate how PointGuard AI secures the full AI lifecycle from AI asset discovery and model validation to runtime enforcement and data protection.
This is a high-impact technical role that combines AI security architecture, pre-sales engineering, and solution design for Fortune 500 and large enterprise customers.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement
- Partner with sales teams to support enterprise opportunities across India and APAC.
- Conduct technical discovery sessions with CISOs, security architects, and AI engineering teams.
- Translate customer requirements into secure AI architecture designs.
Product Demonstrations
- Deliver compelling technical demos, POCs, and workshops showcasing the PointGuard AI platform.
- Demonstrate capabilities such as:
- AI asset discovery
- LLM risk assessment
- AI red-teaming
- Model gateway enforcement
- AI data protection and guardrails
Architecture & Solution Design
- Design secure AI architectures integrating PointGuard AI with:
- LLM platforms (OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure AI)
- AI frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex)
- Enterprise security stacks
- Identity and data security platforms
Proof-of-Concept Execution
- Lead and execute POCs and pilot deployments with customers.
- Work closely with engineering to troubleshoot integrations and technical challenges.
Technical Evangelism
- Present PointGuard AI architecture at:
- Security architecture reviews
- AI governance workshops
- Executive briefings
- Contribute to technical blogs, demos, and conference presentations.
Feedback Loop to Product
- Provide structured feedback to product and engineering teams.
- Help shape product roadmap based on real customer use cases.
Required Qualifications
Experience
- 510+ years experience as:
- Solutions Engineer
- Security Architect
- Sales Engineer
- Cloud Security Engineer
Security Expertise
Strong understanding of:
- Cloud security
- Data protection
- Identity & access management
- Secure Service Edge (SSE) or Zero Trust
- API security(must)
AI / LLM Knowledge
Familiarity with:
- Large Language Models
- AI agents and copilots
- Prompt injection risks
- AI governance frameworks
- Model security and guardrails
Technical Skills
Experience with some of the following:
- Python
- APIs / REST integrations
- Docker / Kubernetes
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Customer Skills
- Strong presentation and storytelling skills
- Ability to explain complex AI security topics to executives and engineers
- Comfortable running hands-on POCs with enterprise customers
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AI security, DSPM, or data protection platforms
- Experience with LLM frameworks (LangChain, HuggingFace, OpenAI APIs)
- Experience working with CISOs and enterprise security teams
- Prior experience in a high-growth startup or security vendor
