Role Information:

As a Solutions Architect at Refold, you will be a senior, client-facing technical leader who owns the presales technical motionfrom discovery and solution design to demos, POCs, and executive value conversations.

You will partner closely with Account Executives to shape deals, influence buying decisions, and help customers envision how Refold's agentic AI platform can transform their integration strategy. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys whiteboarding with CXOs, running structured discovery, designing future-state architectures, and telling a compelling technical value story.

  • Team: Small, high-impact team working directly with founders and revenue leadership
  • Focus: Presales, discovery, demos, POCs, executive alignment
  • Customers: CTOs, VPs of Engineering, VPs of Professional Services, Integration Leaders at Fortune 500 Companies

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Account Executives to support the full presales lifecycle, including discovery, solution design, demos, POCs, and technical validation.
  • Act as the primary technical advisor in sales cycles, influencing deal strategy and technical win themes.
  • Own technical qualification and scoping for POCs, ensuring alignment between customer goals, platform capabilities, and effort required.
  • Lead structured discovery sessions with CXOs and senior stakeholders to understand business processes, integration challenges, and success criteria.
  • Facilitate executive-level conversations that connect Refold's technical differentiation to business impact.
  • Collaborate with Solutions Engineers to translate presales commitments into well-scoped, executable workflows.
  • Provide feedback to Product and Engineering on customer requirements, competitive insights, and platform gaps observed during presales.
  • Stay deeply familiar with Refold's platform capabilities, roadmap, and competitive landscape.

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • 5+ years of experience in Solutions Architecture, Sales Engineering, or Presales roles in enterprise SaaS or integration platforms.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, APIs, workflows, and distributed systems.
  • Proven ability to engage and influence senior technical and business stakeholders (CXOs, VPs).
  • Experience running discovery, scoping POCs, and supporting complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skillsable to explain complex technical concepts in simple, business-relevant terms.
  • Comfort working in ambiguity and fast-moving, early-stage environments.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with enterprise systems such as Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, Workday, NetSuite, or similar.
  • Familiarity with iPaaS or workflow automation platforms (e.g., Workato, Boomi, MuleSoft, Zapier, Merge).
  • Exposure to AI-driven platforms, agentic systems, or automation-heavy products.
  • Prior experience working closely with sales teams in high-ACV enterprise deals.
  • Startup experience, especially in early-stage or scaling companies.
