Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the sales team to provide presales technical support to achieve sales targets for server, storage, virtualization, and cloud solutions (HPE, Dell, VMware, Nutanix, etc.).
- Gather and prioritize customer requirements, define solution architecture, and illustrate the value of company's products to prospects.
- Participate in RFI/RFP submissions, bid coordination, solution design proposals, and technical discussions.
- Design tailored solutions in enterprise IT for servers, HCI, virtualization (VMware, Nutanix), and cloud (private/public/hybrid); conduct product demos and proof-of-concept activities.
- Conduct discovery sessions, technical presentations, and assist in deal closures from the technical side.
- Collaborate regularly with OEM presales, vendors, and distributors on product availability, pricing, and technical updates.
- Build Bills of Materials (BoM), Solution Overview Documents (SOW), and high-level architecture designs.
- Provide internal product training to sales teams, and support technical troubleshooting as required.
- Stay updated on latest trends in server, virtualization, and cloud domains; share insights with internal teams and clients.
- Support commercial negotiations and competitive analysis for large opportunities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5-10 years experience in presales, solution architecture, or technical consulting for infrastructure solutions (servers, virtualization, cloud).
- Strong technical expertise with HPE, Dell EMC, VMware, Nutanix server and virtualization platforms; hands-on with private, hybrid, and public cloud environments.
- Certifications desirable: HPE MASE, VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP), Dell/NetApp storage, Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE).
- Experience with solution sizing, migration techniques, and cloud security protocols.
- Demonstrable experience in solution design, project management, and PoC setup in data center and virtualized cloud solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, including technical writing and presentation abilities for client-facing engagements.
- Analytical mindset, consultative selling abilities, and customer-focused approach.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or engineering discipline.
