Job Title: Head Presales
Location: Chennai (Work from Office)
Start Date: Immediate
Engagement Mode: Full Time
Shift Timing: 3.00AM - 12.00PM PST (US Pacific Time)

Role Overview:
dotSolved is seeking a Head of Presales to drive solutioning, deal strategy, and presales excellence. This role will partner with Sales, Delivery, and Practice Heads to win strategic deals and scale a high-performing presales function.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Pre-Sales Strategy & Leadership
  • Define and execute the overall pre-sales strategy aligned to business goals
  • Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing pre-sales team
  • Establish best practices, frameworks, and reusable assets
2. Solutioning & Deal Support
  • Lead end-to-end solutioning for large and strategic deals
  • Drive RFP/RFI responses, proposals, and presentations
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure feasible and competitive solutions.
3. Sales Enablement
  • Partner with sales teams to improve win rates and deal velocity
  • Develop value propositions, pitch decks, and demos
  • Support key client meetings and executive presentations
4. Customer Engagement
  • Engage with CXO-level stakeholders to understand business needs
  • Position the organization as a trusted advisor
  • Drive consultative selling approaches
5. Process & Governance
  • Define SLAs, metrics, and KPIs for the pre-sales function
  • Improve proposal quality, turnaround time, and standardization
  • Implement tools and automation for efficiency

Qualification:
  • 15+ years of experience in pre-sales / solutioning / consulting roles within IT services or SaaS environments
  • Proven experience in leading and scaling pre-sales teams, including hiring, mentoring, performance management, and capability building
  • Strong domain expertise in Oracle, Salesforce, NetSuite, RPA, and AI-driven solutions
  • Demonstrated success in winning large enterprise deals and contributing to revenue growth
  • Ability to collaborate with sales, delivery, and leadership teams to drive solutioning and deal strategy
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including engagement with CXO-level clients
  • Solid commercial and financial acumen, including pricing, estimations, and deal structuring
  • Experience in building reusable assets, solution frameworks, and best practices to improve win rates and efficiency
