  • Ensure that the design of precast elements aligns with overall project schedules and cost expectations.

Production Management:

  • Oversee the production of precast concrete components at the plant, ensuring that production is in line with project requirements, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with production teams to ensure proper materials, forms, and equipment are available for efficient casting and production.
  • Monitor the production process to ensure that each precast element is produced to specification, with appropriate quality control checks at every stage.
  • Implement corrective actions as necessary to address any production issues or quality concerns.

Installation & Site Coordination:

  • Manage the transportation, delivery, and installation of precast concrete elements at the construction site.
  • Coordinate with site engineers and contractors to ensure that precast elements are safely and efficiently installed as per design.
  • Oversee the handling and installation of large and heavy precast components, ensuring safety measures are followed to prevent accidents or damage.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that installation is on schedule, within budget, and meets all quality and safety requirements.

Quality Control & Assurance:

  • Ensure all precast concrete elements meet required industry standards and are manufactured and installed to the highest quality.
  • Conduct regular inspections and testing of precast elements both during production and upon delivery to the construction site.
  • Address any non-conformities in materials, production, or installation processes, and implement corrective actions where necessary.
  • Maintain proper documentation of quality checks, testing, and inspections for all precast work.

Cost & Resource Management:

  • Assist in the estimation of costs for precast concrete elements, ensuring that production and installation processes remain within budget.
  • Optimize resource allocation to prevent delays and reduce costs, including material management, labor, and equipment use.
  • Work closely with procurement teams to ensure the timely availability of required materials and components for precast production.

Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance:

  • Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations during the production, transportation, and installation of precast elements.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and ensure that the team and contractors follow established safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Implement and promote best practices for environmental sustainability in precast production and installation processes.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians involved in precast production and installation.
  • Foster a collaborative working environment with other engineering disciplines, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure seamless execution of precast works.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members, helping them troubleshoot issues during production or installation.

Documentation & Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of all precast work, including design documents, production schedules, quality control reports, and installation logs.
  • Provide regular progress updates to senior management and clients, addressing any challenges, risks, or changes to the project scope.
  • Prepare and submit all necessary documentation for project review, approval, and certification.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in precast concrete works, including design, production, and installation in large-scale construction projects.
  • Industry Expertise: Experience in infrastructure, commercial, or residential construction projects involving precast concrete elements.
