Position : Pre-sales consultant Cyber Security & SASE architectures

Experience : 3 yrs + Relevant

Budget : 8-12 LPA

Joining time : immediate to 30 days

Education and Experience:

1. Bachelor's degree in computer science Engg Or Equivalent

2. Minimum 3 years of experience in a relevant cybersecurity pre-sales or solution consulting role

Responsibilities and Duties

Engage with customers to understand their cybersecurity posture, risk areas, and data protection needs.

Design and propose integrated solutions across Cybersecurity and SASE architectures (SWG, CASB, ZTNA, FWaaS, SD-WAN).

Prepare and conduct technical presentations, product demos, and Proof of Concept (PoC) exercises.

Translate client requirements into tailored solutions and align with appropriate security technologies.

Collaborate with OEMs, distributors, and product teams for solution alignment and updates.

Draft SoWs (Scope of Work), BoMs (Bill of Materials), and respond to RFPs/RFIs.

Support sales teams with technical documentation, solution comparisons, and competitive positioning.

Stay updated on cybersecurity trends, threat landscapes, and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR).

Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and assist with post-sales technical handovers.

Represent the organisation in client workshops, technical discussions, and security review meetings.

Validate that proposed solutions meet customer needs during qualification and assist in technical validation.

Present solution approaches and create business cases tailored to client objectives.

Required Skills/Abilities

Strong knowledge of Cybersecurity and SASE frameworks.

Hands-on experience with tools such as DLP, SIEM, ZTNA, and endpoint security.

Familiarity with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and SD-WAN solutions.

Ability to translate business requirements into effective technical architectures.

Understanding compliance standards such as ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.

Experience in risk assessment, threat modelling, and posture evaluation.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, both technical and business-oriented.

Skilled in drafting technical documentation, including solution architecture, BoMs, and SoWs.

Capable of leading PoCs and technical evaluations independently.

Strong problem-solving skills and consultative selling experience.

Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across sales, delivery, and OEM teams.

Preferred Certifications: One or more of the following (or equivalent):

Cloudflare, Fortinet, Sentinel One, Cato Networks, Trellix, Checkpoint, Crowdstrike, Zscaler , PaloAlto PCNSE, Cisco , Netskope , CISA , CISM , AWS, AZURE , CEH, etc.
