The Role
This role architects and positions Smart Hands solutions tailored for high-density AI and GPU data centers. It translates compute, rack, cabling, and cooling requirements into optimized onsite and remote support models for safe and efficient handling of AI infrastructure.
The role defines specialized procedures for GPU swaps, dense cabling, and liquid cooling support while embedding automation and remote-assist capabilities. It ensures proposed solutions meet hyperscalers-grade SLAs and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define specialized Smart Hands service scope and SLAs for safe and efficient handling of high-density AI and GPU infrastructure.
- Design detailed operational workflows for GPU swaps, dense cabling work, and liquid cooling related onsite interventions.
- Develop staffing, skill mix, and training models tailored for hyperscale-grade, high-density, and safety-critical environments.
- Build comprehensive RFP responses and commercials for AI-focused onsite and remote support engagements.
- Define strict safety, compliance, and handling procedures for liquid-cooled and high-power AI rack environments.
- Integrate remote assist, AR-guided work instructions, and automation to reduce errors and accelerate field activities.
- Collaborate with design, operations, and OEM teams to validate feasibility and readiness of proposed support models.
- Present differentiated high-density Smart Hands propositions highlighting faster turnaround, precision, and operational risk reduction.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in DC Smart Hands or field services.
- Strong understanding of GPU/AI hardware environments.
- Familiarity with high-density cabling and liquid cooling basics.
- Presales and customer-facing communication skills.
- Knowledge of DC operational safety standards.
- OEM hardware certifications/Training (Dell, HPE, Lenovo)
