We are seeking a dedicated and versatile educator with the ability to teach English, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies.
Role & responsibilities
Classes
- Set a well-established classroom management structure by creating an environment of mutual trust and respect, nurture and encourage curiosity, embrace differences, explore the possibilities of students limitless potential while always ensuring their safety and well-being
- Establish systems and processes with academic team and Academic Coordinator for student motivation and discipline
- Provide instruction, guided practices, experiential activities, useful assessments for all types of learners in line with ASEs curriculum guidelines, policies and procedures
- Proactively research, plan, implement and monitor all new educational initiatives
- Observe and monitor students academic and personal growth, identify areas of strength and opportunities for improvement, create and implement plans for advancement or realignment as needed
- Create and implement daily, weekly, monthly lesson plans, annual syllabus updates and all other processes set forth by the Academic Coordinator and ASE guidelines
- Provide Academic Coordinator any relevant data regarding student progress, lesson plans, implementation of new educational initiatives and any other information requested
Team
- Build teamwork, collaboration and synergistic relationships with fellow educators to provide and maintain excellence
- As an integral part of the overall and various academic teams, come together to research, plan, coordinate and execute lessons, projects, events and team building initiatives
Guardians
- Establish and maintain a positive professional relationship with each guardian, appropriately attend to their needs, questions or concerns, provide adequate explanation and understanding of their childs educational process
- Create, maintain and communicate timely progress analysis and reports, schedule and conduct parent-teacher conferences as per school guidelines
Training
- Be an active and enthusiastic participant in all ASE internal as well as external trainings, conferences, new educational initiatives and processes
- Work with trainers to establish methods of transforming training topics to practical classroom implementation
- Actively make and seek efforts for personal and professional growth as an educator
Qualification
- Possess B.ED/ECCED/Montessori
- 3-4 years of English Teaching experience is required in English Medium
- Computer & IT skills
