Job Description

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field with 4+ years hardware engineering experience
  • OR Master's degree with 3+ years experience
  • OR PhD with 2+ years experience

Job Description & Responsibilities:

  • Understand hardware design documents (HDDs), product requirements (PRDs), and microarchitecture to create detailed validation/test plans for Display IP and its integration.
  • Develop and execute test content for SoC-level Display validation on pre-silicon emulation and post-silicon platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on validating use cases and debugging issues in pre- and post-silicon phases.
  • Execute protocol and electrical compliance testing for Display ports (DP, HDMI, DSI).
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of Display IP features and SoC integration to debug using lab tools such as display analyzers, oscilloscopes, and silicon debug tools.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's/Master's in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Computer Engineering
  • 8-12 years industry experience focused on multimedia, preferably Display and associated interfaces
  • Proficiency in C/C++ and Python for content development and scripting
  • Familiarity with ARM SoC architecture concepts (SMMU, GIC, Coresight)
  • Strong debugging skills using protocol analyzers, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and Lauterbach debuggers
  • Experience with multimedia IPs like DPU, DSI, DP, GPU, ISP, and working with emulation platforms, FPGA, silicon bring-up
  • Knowledge of display concepts, interfaces, and power/performance measurement of SoCs
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills; adaptability to new technologies and environments
