Roles and responsibilities:(PPC Engineer)
Production Planning and Scheduling:
- Develop and implement production schedules based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and material availability.
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as necessary to meet delivery targets.
- Coordinate with procurement to ensure raw materials are available as per production requirements.
Process Optimization:
- Analyze production processes and identify opportunities for improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Implement lean manufacturing techniques and other best practices to improve productivity.
Resource Management:
- Monitor and manage the allocation of resources, including manpower, machinery, and materials, to meet production goals.
- Ensure that production equipment is maintained and functioning properly to prevent downtime.
Quality Assurance:
- Work closely with the quality control team to ensure products meet quality standards.
- Collaborate with the production team to address any quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Collect, analyze, and report data related to production performance, efficiency, and resource utilization.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports for management review.
Coordination and Communication:
- Coordinate with various departments (e.g., production, procurement, logistics) to ensure smooth operations and address any production issues.
- Communicate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Inventory Management:
- Monitor inventory levels and work with the warehouse and procurement teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Implement inventory control procedures to minimize excess inventory and reduce costs.
Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards within the production area.
- Promote a safe working environment by conducting regular safety audits and training sessions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in production planning and control, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment
