Job Description

Roles and responsibilities:(PPC Engineer)

Production Planning And Scheduling

  • Develop and implement production schedules based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and material availability.
  • Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as necessary to meet delivery targets.
  • Coordinate with procurement to ensure raw materials are available as per production requirements.

Process Optimization

  • Analyze production processes and identify opportunities for improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Implement lean manufacturing techniques and other best practices to improve productivity.

Resource Management

  • Monitor and manage the allocation of resources, including manpower, machinery, and materials, to meet production goals.
  • Ensure that production equipment is maintained and functioning properly to prevent downtime.

Quality Assurance

  • Work closely with the quality control team to ensure products meet quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the production team to address any quality issues and implement corrective actions.

Data Analysis And Reporting

  • Collect, analyze, and report data related to production performance, efficiency, and resource utilization.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports for management review.

Coordination And Communication

  • Coordinate with various departments (e.g., production, procurement, logistics) to ensure smooth operations and address any production issues.
  • Communicate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.

Inventory Management

  • Monitor inventory levels and work with the warehouse and procurement teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Implement inventory control procedures to minimize excess inventory and reduce costs.

Compliance And Safety

  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards within the production area.
  • Promote a safe working environment by conducting regular safety audits and training sessions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in production planning and control, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment
