Requirements :

Sub- Domain : Cooling System and Components like hoses, degas tank, radiator, pumps, valves etc.

Tools : CatiaV5/V6, Vismockup, Teamcenter

Total No. of Year Experience - 2-4 years

Job Location - Pune

Education -BE/B. Tech in Mechanical/Production/ Automotive Engineering

Job Description / Roles & Responsibilities:

. Candidate will be part of Powertrain teams as a full time Design and Release engineer for cooling systems.

. Responsible for owning cooling commodities - Hoses, Tanks, Heat exchangers, Pumps and Valves.

. Liaise with various stakeholders and provide end to end delivery solutions.

. Should have a good understanding of vehicle package guideline.

. Sound knowledge of Plastic and Sheet metal design guidelines and manufacturing processes is required.

. Should have an ability to conduct benchmarking studies and propose innovative solutions.

. Good understanding of PCDS and major gateways.

WHAT YOU NEED

. Automotive domain knowledge with working experience of cooling system commodities.

. Commodity Ownership

. Participate in sourcing process for timely onboarding of suppliers

. Coordinate with stakeholders - Engineering, Finance, Purchase & supplier for BOM management

. Timely S/T/P releases by ensuring right information of data is produced like CAD, Cost, QAF etc.

. Understanding of commodity release & change management

. Understanding of Proto & Production BOM

. Excellent CATIA V5 and CATIA V6 2D/3D skills.

. Exposure to PLM tools such as TeamCenter.

. GD&T knowledge is a must.

. Proficiency in using MS tools such as SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
