PowerBI on Fabric

Responsibilities :

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards on Fabric aligned to business requirements and KPIs.

Build and optimize semantic models, measures, and calculations to ensure accuracy, consistency, and usability.

Connect, transform, and model data within Fabric-enabled workflows to support reliable reporting outcomes.

Ensure report performance through efficient modeling, visual best practices, and query optimization techniques.

Implement governance basics such as workspace organization, dataset/report lifecycle practices, and access controls.

Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into BI solutions, and iterate based on feedback.

Troubleshoot data and visualization issues, ensuring timely resolution and stable production support.

Document dashboards, datasets, and key definitions to improve maintainability and knowledge sharing.

Additional Responsibilities:

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Engineering/Technology/Computer Applications/Science (BTech/BE/BSc/MCA or equivalent).

2-3 years of experience delivering BI solutions using Power BI on Fabric.

Working experience with Microsoft Fabric concepts and components relevant to reporting and analytics delivery.

Strong understanding of data modeling fundamentals and building reliable metrics for reporting.

Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical users. Preferred Qualifications:

Experience implementing end-to-end reporting solutions within Microsoft Fabric environments, including structured deployment and workspace practices.

Strong proficiency in DAX and Power Query for building reusable measures, transformations, and scalable models.

Exposure to Lakehouse/Warehouse-based reporting patterns and working with curated datasets for enterprise BI.

Experience with performance tuning for datasets and reports, including model optimization and visual efficiency improvements.

Demonstrated ability to define KPI frameworks, build executive-ready dashboards, and drive adoption through user-centric design. Good to have skills: DAX, Power Query, Data Modeling, SQL, Dashboard Performance Optimization
