Job Description
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of the captive power plant to ensure optimal performance.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Monitor and analyse plant performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Lead a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance and training as required.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of the power plant with manufacturing processes.
- Prepare and manage the budget for the power plant operations.
- Manage vendor and supplier relationships to ensure timely procurement of materials and services.
The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Production Engineering (Master's preferred).
25+ years of overall experience, including:
- 10+ years in power plant operations and maintenance.
- 5+ years in a senior leadership role within power plant management.
- Strong knowledge of boilers, turbines, generators, and related equipment.
- Proven track record in operational excellence and team leadership.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Exposure of Power Plant Project
- Must have worked in CFBC, AFBC, WHRB (Boilers) and Steam Turbines
- Must be BOE Certified
