Power BI Visualization Programmer - Bangalore/Chennai

The role involves being a Clinical Data Transformation Lead in the Clinical Data Management area, focusing on enhancing data review and cleaning processes with innovative clinical dashboards and data visualization solutions to support Global Development business functions such as BDM, Precision Medicine, Clinical Science, Pharmacometrics, and Imaging. It entails creating and implementing data validation procedures and reports, managing the connection to varied data sources, and ensuring efficient scheduling, monitoring, and maintenance on the Clinical Data platform. This role will focus on generating actionable insights by leveraging data from the Scientific Data Lake and developing dashboards such as Clean Patient Trackers, Clinical Science Dashboards, and Clinical Data Management Dashboards. Ultimately, this position aims to advance clinical data management and informatics by improving data integrity, efficiency, and capacity for expansion

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Lead the development of clinical dashboards such as Clean Patient Trackers, Audit Trail Insights, Data quality, Operational and site performance, Medical monitoring dashboards - to enable data visibility for business functions across Global Development.
  • Ensure dashboards provide actionable insights to improve clinical data oversight, facilitate efficient data cleaning and review, monitor operational performance, enable improved visibility and decision-making.
  • Source and integrate data from the Scientific Data Lake, ensuring data quality, consistency, and alignment with business requirements.
  • Design and optimize dashboard performance for real-time data processing and visualization
  • Create reusable visualization components and maintain a component library for consistent implementation
  • Implement data validation routines to ensure quality and consistency of integrated datasets
  • Design and optimize data models to support efficient querying and visualization requirements
  • Optimize query performance for large clinical datasets to enable real-time dashboard functionality
  • Implement caching strategies and data aggregation techniques to improve dashboard responsiveness
  • Conduct load testing and performance tuning to ensure scalability across the clinical portfolio

Your Profile:

  • Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field advanced certifications in data programming or clinical data science are advantageous.
  • 8+ years of experience in clinical data analytics, data visualization, or a related field, with a focus on developing dashboards, KPIs, and metrics to support clinical trial oversight.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Programming Languages: Python or R, and SQL
  • Strong understanding of clinical trial processes, clinical data standards (e.g., CDISC), and regulatory requirements (e.g., GCP, GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Experience with data lakes, data pipelines, data integration, automation, and analytics in a clinical research environment.
