Power BI- Technical Lead

Job Description :

6+ years of experience in Power BI Design and development.

5+ years of experience in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Power Query.

5+ years of experience in SQL and data analysis with large, complex datasets.

4+ years of experience integrating Power BI with Azure data stack Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, Azure SQL, and Databricks.

Key technical skills :

Lead the design, development, and deployment of robust, interactive Power BI reports and dashboards across departments.

Define and implement Power BI governance standards including workspace management, naming conventions, data security (RLS), and lifecycle management.

Optimize data sources and query performance in Power BI by integrating efficiently with Azure Synapse, SQL Server, ADLS, and ADF pipelines.

Design reusable dataflows, templates, and report components to ensure consistency and reduce development effort.

Collaborate with business users, data engineers, and product owners to understand analytics needs and ensure accurate, actionable insights.

Provide technical leadership and mentor junior BI developers and analysts on Power BI best practices.

Support the implementation of DevOps/CI-CD pipelines for report version control and automated deployments.

Conduct code reviews, performance audits, and provide recommendations for report and model improvements.
