Responsibilities
Job Requirements
Translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Design, build, and deploy BI solutions (e.g., reporting tools) for clinical, operational, and financial analytics.
- Develop interactive and scalable data visualizations for executives, clinical, and operational stakeholders.
- Optimize DAX expressions, Power Query, and data models for high-performance reporting.
- Ensure Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and Row-Level Security for data governance.
- Integrate Power BI with SQL databases, cloud data lakes (AWS/Azure), and REST APIs.
- Maintain and support data analytics platforms.
- Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with teams to integrate systems.
- Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses.
- Create visualizations and reports for requested projects.
- Evaluate and improve existing BI systems.
- Develop and update technical documentation
Work Experience
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in Power BI development, including report creation, data modeling, DAX, and Power Query.
Strong knowledge of Power BI service.
PowerBI Microsoft Apps
Strong hands-on on RLS
- Expertise in SQL, database modeling, and ETL pipelines.
- Experience with database management and data manipulation.
- In-depth understanding of ETL frameworks.
- Experience integrating with cloud-based platforms (preferably Azure).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues related to data visualization and automation.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Background in data warehouse design (e.g., dimensional modeling) and data mining.
- Strong experience in cloud/on-prem data warehouses like AWS Redshift, Snowflake, Teradata, and Databricks.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively work with both technical and non-technical teams.
Desired Skills
- Knowledge of Power Automate for advanced schedule/analytics pipeline automation.
- Familiarity with AI/ML deployment in Power BI.
- Microsoft Power BI Certification.
- Knowledge of Python.
- Knowledge of the healthcare domain and compliance (HIPAA, GDPR).
