Job Title: Power BI Lead Developer

We are looking for a Power BI Lead Developer to join our analytics team and empower stakeholders with actionable data and visualizations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead development, deployment, of robust Power BI dashboards and analytics solutions supporting investment strategies, portfolio analysis, risk assessment, and regulatory reporting
- Collaborate closely with portfolio managers, research teams, risk, and finance to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Design and develop complex data models, perform ETL processes, and integrate data from multiple sources such as portfolio management systems, custodian banks, market data feeds, and internal financial databases
- Ensure high standards of data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all dashboards and reports
- Mentor and guide a team of Power BI developers, ensuring best practices for financial data visualization and compliance with industry regulations
- Optimize Power BI solutions for performance and scalability, including large data sets and real-time data streaming
- Stay up-to-date with Power BI features, analytics trends in investments, and recommend enhancements to internal analytics capabilities
- Produce intuitive, interactive visualizations that support investment decisions and operational improvements
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field
- 6+ years of experience in BI/reporting development, including at least 3 years as Power BI lead/developer within financial services, investments, or asset management is preferred.
- Proficient in Power BI (Desktop and Service), DAX, Power Query, data modeling, and complex data visualization
- Expert in SQL and data warehousing concepts
- Excellent analytical skills with strong communication and stakeholder management
- Microsoft certification in Power BI or related fields is preferred
- Knowledge of Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) is a plus
- It would be Plus to have Strong understanding of the investment/asset management domain, including portfolio structures, performance measurement, risk analytics, and compliance reporting
- Experience integrating data from Bloomberg, Reuters, custodian banks, or similar sources is highly desirable
