Key Responsibilities
- Work with Microsoft Fabric components such asOneLake, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Dataflows Gen2, and Notebooks.
- Build and optimizesemantic modelsusingPower BI datasetsandDAX.
- Develop and manage ETL/ELT pipelinesusingFabric Data Factory.
- Integrate data from multiple sources including SQL Server, Azure SQL, APIs, and cloud data sources.
- Ensure data accuracy, performance optimization, and scalability of BI solutions.
- Implementrow-level security (RLS)and data governance standards.
- Support production deployments and provide ongoing enhancements.
- Power BI Dashboard Creation & Management:Design, develop, andmaintaina variety of Power BI dashboards and reports tailored to the specific needs of different projects, scrum teams, and stakeholders.
- Requirements Gathering:Collaborate with project managers, scrum masters, and team members to understand their information needs and translate them into effective dashboard visualizations.
- Training & Support:Provide training and support to users on how to effectively use Power BI dashboards and interpret the data presented in dashboards.
- Reporting & Analysis:Generate regular reports based on the data collected in Fabric warehouse, highlighting key metrics, trends, and potential issues.
- StayingUp-to-Date:Keep abreast of the latest PBI/Fabric features, best practices, and industry trends to ensure our Jira implementation isoptimized.
- Documentation:Create andmaintainclear documentation for PBI Fabric Lakehouse/Warehouse configurations, datasets and data models.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 46 years of experienceinreporting tools like Power BI development / Tableau.
- Mandatory Required Certification: Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert.
- Strong hands-on experience withMicrosoft Fabric.
- Strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query, Power Automation and data modelling best practices.
- Expertisein pulling and aggregating data setsfrom multiple data sources (Azure portals,performance systems, ServiceNow, Oracle ERP, Workday,Jira, SonarQube, etc).
- Experience in FinOps analysis and financial reporting.
- Experience withdata modelling, star/snowflake schemas.
- Experience with ETL processes, SQL, and database design.
- Knowledge ofFabric Lakehouse and Warehousing concepts.
- Experience withAzure Data Services(Azure SQL, Synapse, Data Lake).
- Understanding ofdata security, RLS, and governance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience withPython or Sparkin Fabric Notebooks.
- Familiarity withCI/CD for Power BI and Fabric.
- Knowledge ofPower BI Service administration.
- Exposure toAgile/Scrumenvironments.
- Certifications: DA-100 (Power BI), PL-300 (Power BI), DP-203 (Azure Data Engineering), DP-600 (Fabric Analyst).
Compensation
The salary range provided in this job posting is intended to reflect the general market value for the position. The actual salary offered may vary based on factors such as the candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and the specific requirements of the role. This range may also be subject to change as market conditions evolve. We encourage open communication throughout the interview process to discuss compensation expectations. For base-salary + commission sales roles, the range represents On-Target Earnings.
