Power BI Developer

Position: Senior Power BI Developer/ Lead Developer(with Power BI Administration & Azure Experience)

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Power BI Developer to join our team. This role is ideal for a professional who goes beyond just building dashboards—you will take ownership of the end-to-end Power BI ecosystem, including Service Administration, Tenant-to-Tenant Migrations, and Azure Cloud data integration.

You will work closely with business stakeholders to transform complex data streams into actionable, secure, and high-performance visual insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Power BI Development: Design, optimize, and deploy interactive Power BI dashboards. Build complex data models using advanced DAX and Power Query (M language).
• Power BI Administration & Governance: Manage the Power BI tenant, workspace access, and licensing types (Pro, PPU, Premium). Configure and map Power BI Gateways, and set up scheduled and incremental refreshes.
• Tenant & Cloud Migration: Plan and execute Power BI tenant-to-tenant migrations. Support data migration activities from legacy/on-premise systems to modern cloud environments.
• Content Distribution: Securely implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and manage seamless reporting distribution through Power BI Apps.
• Azure Data Integration: Connect and transform data from diverse enterprise sources, working closely with Azure services such as Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure SQL Database.

Required Technical Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 5+ years of dedicated, hands-on experience in Power BI development and administration.
• Power BI Admin Mastery: Proven, practical experience with Power BI Service Administration, gateway setup, and successfully executing at least one tenant-to-tenant migration.
• Data Security & Publishing: Deep understanding of implementing Row-Level Security (RLS) and managing Power BI Apps.
• Azure Cloud Ecosystem: Solid, hands-on experience working with Azure data tools (ADF, Synapse, Azure SQL, and Blob Storage).
• Core Data Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL, database design, and data warehousing concepts.
• Collaboration: Excellent communication skills with the ability to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions independently.
