Role: Power BI Developer

Skills and Experience Required
- 510 years of experience in developing and implementing BI solutions using Power BI.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and Power Query (M language).
- Solid understanding of data modeling, DAX calculations and building efficient semantic models.
- Experience in connecting Power BI to multiple data sources (SQL Server, Snowflake, Azure Synapse, APIs, Excel).
- Ability to develop interactive dashboards and reports aligned with business KPIs.
- Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for large datasets and DirectQuery/Import modes.
- Familiarity with Azure services (Data Factory, Synapse) and/or AWS for data integration is a plus.
- Understanding of row-level security (RLS) and workspace governance.
- Microsoft Power BI certification or equivalent preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to meet business requirements.
- Create optimized data models and implement DAX measures for accurate and efficient reporting.
- Integrate Power BI with various data sources, ensuring data accuracy and refresh reliability.
- Apply best practices for performance tuning, including aggregations and query optimization.
- Implement security measures such as RLS and manage workspace permissions.
- Collaborate with business analysts and data engineers to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data models, refresh schedules, and report performance.
- Document solutions and provide user training for self-service BI adoption.
- Stay updated on new Power BI features and enhancements to improve solution capabilities.
