About the Role

Caterpillar is seeking a highly skilled Power Bl Analyst to join its Digital Transformation & Analytics team. This role will be responsible for designing enterprise dashboards, developing scalable reporting solutions, connecting to multiple business data sources, and delivering actionable insights for leadership and operations teams across global functions.

The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Power Bl, data modeling, DAX, SQL, enterprise data integration, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale Power Bl dashboards and scorecards.

• Connect and integrate data from multiple Caterpillar business systems and enterprise databases.

• Build efficient semantic models, datasets, and reusable reporting frameworks.

• Develop advanced DAX measures and Power Query transformations.

• Create executive dashboards, KPI scorecards, operational reports, and analytical solutions.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and define reporting solutions.

• Implement row-level security, governance, incremental refresh and performance optimization practices.

• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance.

• Support Power Bl workspace administration, deployment, and refresh management.

• Drive reporting automation and self-service analytics initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or related field.

• 5-8 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Reporting, or Analytics.

• Minimum 4+ years of Power Bl development experience.

• Strong SQL programming experience.

• Experience working with enterprise-scale datasets.

• Experience interacting with global stakeholders and senior leadership.

Preferred Certifications

• Microsoft Certified: Power Bl Data Analyst Associate (PL-300)

• Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer

• Azure Data Fundamentals (DP-900)
