Role Description

Inficore Soft is looking for a visually-minded and data-savvy Power BI Developer Intern. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming complex raw data into intuitive, interactive, and actionable dashboards. You will work closely with our data and business teams to ensure that our internal and external stakeholders have the insights they need to make informed decisions at a glance.

Primary Responsibilities

Dashboard Creation: Develop, maintain, and enhance interactive Power BI reports and dashboards.

Data Transformation: Use Power Query to clean, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources (Excel, SQL, APIs).

DAX Modeling: Write and optimize Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) formulas for complex calculations and business logic.

UI/UX Design: Apply best practices in data visualization to create clean, user-friendly layouts that tell a clear story.

Performance Tuning: Optimize report performance and ensure data refreshes are scheduled and functioning correctly.

Requirements

Education: Currently pursuing or a recent graduate in Data Science, Information Technology, Statistics, or a related field.

Technical Skills: Strong foundational knowledge of Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.

Analytical Skills: Basic understanding of relational database concepts and SQL.

Visual Storytelling: A sharp eye for design and the ability to choose the right chart types for specific data insights.

Calculations: Familiarity with creating Measures, Calculated Columns, and Filters using DAX.
