About the Role
Infopro Learning is seeking a skilled Power BI Developer for an immediate, short-term contractengagement. This role is ideal for a hands-on analytics professional who excels at transforming complex data into clear, impactful dashboards and insights.
You will partner closely with global stakeholders and cross-functional teams to design, build, and deliver high-quality Power BI solutions that support business decision-making across the organization. This is an on-site role based in Noida and requires flexibility to collaborate with international teams.
What You'll Do
Power BI Development & Dashboard Design
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
- Build efficient, scalable data models and datasets using Power BI best practices.
- Apply strong UX/UI principles to create intuitive, business-friendly dashboards that tell a clear data story.
Data Integration & Querying
- Extract, transform, and model data from diverse sources including databases, applications, APIs, and data lakes.
- Write and optimize SQL queries, DAX calculations, and Power Query (M) transformations to ensure performance and accuracy.
Requirements Gathering & Documentation
- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics needs.
- Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications and documentation.
- Maintain documentation for dashboards, datasets, and data workflows.
Agile Delivery & Collaboration
- Work within an Agile/Scrum framework, participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Present demos and walkthroughs to global stakeholders, including late-evening IST sessions when required.
- Collaborate closely with analysts, engineers, project managers, and functional teams across Infopro.
Job requirements
Required Skills & Experience
- 36 years of hands-on experience designing and developing Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Strong expertise in SQL, DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling concepts.
- Proven experience integrating data from multiple, varied data sources.
- Solid understanding of dashboard UX/UI best practices.
- Experience working in Agile or sprint-based project environments.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and clear communication.
- Willingness and ability to work on-site from Infopro's Noida office.
- Flexibility to support late-evening IST collaboration with global teams.
Preferred (Nice to Have)
- Exposure to Power BI governance, workspace management, and deployment pipelines.
- Experience with cloud data platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Knowledge of Python or R for advanced data preparation and analysis.
