About The Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Power BI Developer with 45 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions that help drive data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, design, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications
- Create data models, DAX calculations, and optimize performance of reports
- Connect Power BI to various data sources including SQL databases, Excel, APIs, etc
- Perform data analysis and ensure data accuracy and consistency
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver insights
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing BI reports and dashboards
- Ensure best practices in data visualization and report usability
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 45 years of hands-on experience with Power BI
- Strong expertise in DAX, Power Query, and data modeling
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases
- Understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts
- Experience in integrating multiple data sources
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in night shifts or with international clients
- Knowledge of Azure (Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, etc.) is a plus
- Familiarity with other BI tools is an added advantage
Work Conditions
- Temporary Work From Home arrangement
- May transition to Work From Office based on business requirements
- Must be comfortable working in night shifts (07:00 PM 04:00 AM IST)
