Job Description:We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Power BI Developer with 2 to 4 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Power BI, data visualization, and business intelligence, and be passionate about turning data into actionable insights. As a Power BI Developer, you will work closely with stakeholders to develop and implement reporting solutions, and help drive data-driven decisions across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and deploy interactive Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Work with business users to understand requirements and translate them into effective reporting solutions.
- Create data models and perform data transformations to ensure efficient reporting and analysis.
- Develop DAX queries and Power Query M scripts for complex calculations and data manipulations.
- Perform data integration from multiple sources (SQL, Excel, SharePoint, etc.).
- Ensure the accuracy, performance, and scalability of Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for end-users.
- Optimize data models and reports for improved performance and usability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Power BI features and best practices.
Qualifications:- 2 to 4 years of experience in Power BI development.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, and Power Query.
- Experience with data integration and transforming data from various sources such as SQL Server, Excel, and cloud-based systems.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
- Proficient in SQL for querying databases and data extraction.
- Experience in building data models, creating measures, and implementing security features in Power BI.
- Ability to work with large datasets and optimize performance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with other BI tools or data visualization platforms is a plus (e.g., Tableau, QlikView).
