We are seeking a highly skilled Senior
Power BI Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Power BI, general BI skills, and business analysis. This role requires a proactive team player who can independently deliver high-quality solutions.
Job Responsibilities
- Design and develop Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Perform data analysis and provide insights using Power BI.
- Create complex DAX expressions for data manipulation and calculations.
- Develop interactive data visualizations to present data effectively.
- Perform semantic data modeling and dimensional modeling.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data retrieval and analysis.
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
- Gather and document business requirements.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
- Ask probing questions to understand and clarify business needs.
- Work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders.
- Take ownership of projects and deliver independently.
- Experience with Azure Synapse and Azure Data Factory.
- Proficiency in SQL Server databases.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in Power BI development, including DAX and data visualization.
- Strong background in semantic data modeling, dimensional modeling, and SQL.
- Excellent communication and data storytelling abilities.
- Demonstrated experience in business analysis and requirement gathering.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, and SQL databases is a plus.
