Summary:
Own and be accountable for the smooth and effective design and delivery of tactical reporting process transformation automation solutions as per book of work. Ensure the timely delivery and accuracy of planned automation solutions. Ensure the right capabilities and certifications are in place for smooth automation delivery. Alignment to processes and compliance requirements for all automation solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute as a key member of the Reporting Centre of Excellence (COE) to craft, deploy, and supervise the usage of low-cost unattended solutions.
- Design algorithms and workflows using Power Automate Desktop and Python required for new reporting solutions, while ensuring compliance with existing processes, systems, and interfaces.
- Deliver as an individual contributor by independently selecting components of the technical stack meant for Power BI and Power Application development in agreement with enterprise architecture.
- Identify and develop process automation solutions using the technology stack including Python, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power App.
- Extract data from various legacy or cloud sources using Power Automate or email and store it to online sources like cloud storage.
- Act as an automation analyst for identifying process automation opportunities within assigned verticals and build vital user documentation.
- Connect effectively with critical team members and collaborators, gather requirements, and obtain sign-off on documents.
- Adhere to existing policy guidelines with respect to software development, deployment, and organizational change along with application of policy guidelines to new solution designs and deployment.
- Hands-on experience with Python/Selenium algorithms for screen scraping and navigation across applications is desirable for developing Python solutions in place of Excel macros.
- Store code in a version control environment through tools like Git to promote maintenance and reuse of components.
Requirements:
- Educated to at least graduate level (10+2+4).
- Minimum 5 to 7 years of autonomous design, development, and deployment of custom software and solutions in a technology organization within a shared service delivery environment.
- Bachelor&rsquos Degree in Engineering, M.Sc., MCA, M. Tech, or equivalent with 80% in Graduation.
- Must have independently completed a minimum of 40 medium to highly complex reporting automation projects for an enterprise using Power BI or Power App solutions within the last 5 years.
Required Skills:
- Visual Dashboard and Flows: Power BI, Power App (minimum 5 years).
- Proficiency in English is a must.
- End-to-end knowledge of Cloud Environment (Microsoft Azure Cloud and Power BI, Power Automate) with certifications is a must.
- Understanding of Agile Software development methodology is a must.
Preferred Skills:
- Python (desirable but not essential - for 6 months to 1 year).
- Python Libraries: NumPy, Pandas (desirable but not essential - for 6 months to 1 year).
- Database: MySQL, PostgreSQL (any SQL for minimum 3 to 5 years).
- Query Language: JavaScript, M Query, Power Query (minimum 3 years).
- Experience of having effectively engaged, motivated, and influenced a variety of collaborators in multiple geographies and cultures is desirable.
