Key Responsibilities:
Stakeholder Collaboration & Requirement Gathering:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into interactive Power BI visualizations.
- Work with cross-functional teams to gather feedback and continuously improve reports and dashboards.
Report and Dashboard Development:
- Design and develop actionable Power BI reports and dashboards tailored to business requirements.
- Develop and maintain robust data models in Power BI to support analytical processes.
- Implement best practices in data visualization ensuring reports are intuitive and user-friendly.
- Test and validate data accuracy and integrity across all reports.
UI/UX Design:
- Create detailed wireframes and prototypes using Figma to clearly communicate design concepts.
- Stay updated on the latest Power BI features and UI/UX design trends.
Training and Support:
- Provide end-user training and ongoing support related to Power BI dashboards and functionalities.
- Support ad-hoc reporting requests and help troubleshoot issues as needed.
Project Management & Documentation:
- Assist in project management tasks to ensure timely delivery of Power BI projects.
- Create and maintain documentation for report development processes and user guides.
Data Governance and Compliance:
- Implement data governance best practices to ensure compliance, security, and data integrity.
Team Contribution:
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative and positive team environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Power BI consulting and data visualization.
- Proficiency in Figma and strong knowledge of wireframing and design thinking principles.
- Hands-on experience with data analysis, data modeling, SQL, DAX, and Power Query.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience working in Agile project environments.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of data governance and business intelligence methodologies.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently, especially in remote setups.
