Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Power Apps (Canvas App) Lead to design, develop, and lead enterprise-grade applications using the Microsoft Power Platform. The role requires strong expertise in Canvas Apps, hands-on experience with Dataverse, and working / basic knowledge of Dynamics 365 CRM modules (Sales & Field Service).
The candidate will drive solution architecture, mentor developers, and ensure scalable, high-performance app delivery aligned with business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of Canvas Apps within the Power Platform ecosystem
- Architect scalable solutions leveraging Microsoft Dataverse as the primary data platform
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Integrate Power Apps with Power Automate, Power BI, and external systems (APIs, Azure services)
- Ensure adherence to ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) practices using solutions and pipelines
- Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and best practices to development teams
- Optimize application performance, usability, and security
- Implement governance, environment strategies, and data policies within Power Platform
- Work with Dynamics 365 teams to integrate or extend Sales and Field Service modules
- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure system reliability
Required Skills & Qualifications
Core Technical Skills
- Strong expertise in Power Apps (Canvas Apps) development
- Solid experience with Microsoft Dataverse (entities, relationships, business rules, security roles)
- Proficiency in Power Fx formulas, collections, and app performance optimization
- Experience with Power Automate workflows and integrations
- Knowledge of connectors, custom connectors, and REST APIs
Microsoft Ecosystem
- Working knowledge of Dynamics 365 CRM:
- Sales (Leads, Opportunities, Accounts)
- Field Service (Work Orders, Scheduling, Resources)
- Understanding of model-driven apps (good to have)
- Familiarity with Azure services (Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus) is a plus
Architecture & Governance
- Experience in solution design and architecture within Power Platform
- Knowledge of ALM practices, DevOps pipelines, and solution management
- Understanding of security models and data governance in Dataverse
Leadership & Soft Skills
- Proven experience leading or mentoring a team of developers
- Strong stakeholder communication and requirement analysis skills
- Ability to drive technical decisions and enforce best practices
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., PL-400, PL-600)
- Experience in enterprise-scale implementations
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Immediate joiner or maximum 20 days of notice period.
