Key Responsibilities
After-sales Technical Support
- Provide on-site and remote troubleshooting for PV inverters (string and central).
- Diagnose hardware and software faults, and perform repairs or component replacements.
- Support inverter commissioning, parameter configuration, and system performance verification.
Customer Service & Issue Resolution
- Respond promptly to customer complaints and provide effective technical solutions.
- Maintain good communication with EPCs, distributors, and end customers.
- Prepare service reports and maintain accurate service records.
Quality Feedback & Continuous Improvement
- Report product failures, reliability data, and field test results to HQ and R&D teams.
- Participate in root cause analysis and provide feedback for design improvement.
- Assist in implementing product updates, firmware upgrades, and system optimization.
Training & Technical Documentation
- Conduct technical training for customers, installers, and local service partners.
- Prepare and update service manuals, troubleshooting guides, and FAQs.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all field service operations comply with company and local safety regulations.
- Promote and implement electrical safety practices in installation and maintenance work.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or Renewable Energy.
Experience:
- 5-year post-sales of experience with commissioning, maintenance, or technical service of solar inverter in both North and South Regions.
- Experience with major inverter brands (e.g., Huawei, Sungrow, Growatt, SMA, etc.) preferred.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for power electronics systems.
- Familiar with communication protocols (Modbus, RS485, Ethernet) and PV monitoring platforms.
- Good command of English (written & spoken); Hindi or other Indian languages are a plus.
- High sense of responsibility, teamwork spirit, and ability to travel frequently.
