Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership and Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the post-production team, including video editors, sound designers, and graphic artists.
  • Assign tasks and projects to team members, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to review progress and address any challenges.

Project Management:

  • Oversee the post-production workflow from raw footage to final product, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Coordinate with project managers, Academic directors, content creators, and other departments to align on project goals and timelines.
  • Maintain an organized system for managing and archiving all media assets.

Quality Control:

  • Ensure all video and multimedia content meets the institute's standards for quality and branding.
  • Review and approve final edits, providing constructive feedback to the team.
  • Implement best practices for video editing, colour correction, sound design, and visual effects.

Technical Expertise:

  • Stay updated on the latest post-production software, tools, and technologies.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to the post-production team.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and implement solutions to improve workflow efficiency.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with the marketing, communications, and Academics departments to understand their needs and provide creative solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to manage expectations and deliver on project requirements.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment within the team.

Budget and Resource Management:

  • Assist in developing and managing the post-production budget.
  • Ensure efficient use of resources, including software, hardware, and personnel.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Media Studies, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (2+ years) in video production, including shooting, editing, and project management.
  • Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and production equipment.
  • Strong creative vision and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Working Days: 6 working days with Sunday Off
