We are looking for an experienced POS / Payments Test Engineer with strong expertise in Point of Sale (POS) testing, payment systems, EMV/chip card testing, contactless and Magstripe transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform functional and end-to-end testing of Point of Sale (POS) systems and different payment transaction types.
• Test Back Office Solutions (BOS) and POS interfaces/integrations with connected systems.
• Perform physical card testing using Magstripe, EMV/Chip, and Contactless payment methods on physical POS terminals.
• Validate EMV transaction flows and analyze end-to-end transaction logs.
• Perform payment system testing for B2B and B2C card payment solutions.
• Conduct Acquirer Certification, Accreditation, and payment solution certification testing.
• Validate complete transaction flows from card initiation through authorization and transaction completion.
• Identify, document, track, and retest defects using appropriate defect management tools.
• Execute different test types and testing techniques based on project requirements.
• Coordinate test activities with development, product, payment, certification, and other technical teams.
• Prepare and execute test scenarios, test cases, and test execution reports.
• Participate in test planning, test management, and coordination across multiple teams.
• Analyze transaction failures and support troubleshooting using POS and backend logs.
• Ensure testing activities follow applicable payment security and certification requirements.

Mandatory Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Software Testing, preferably in POS / Payments domain.
• Strong experience in POS Testing and Payment Systems Testing.
• Hands-on experience with EMV / Chip Card Testing.
• Experience testing Contactless and Magstripe transactions.
• Experience with physical payment cards and POS terminals.
• Strong understanding of EMV transaction flows and end-to-end log validation.
• Experience in Acquirer Certification / Accreditation Testing.
• Experience with B2B and B2C Card Payment Solutions.
• Strong knowledge of functional, integration, system, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience with test management and defect management tools.
• Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
