DB Centre works very closely with Deutsche Bank hubs to deliver cutting edge investment banking services for the Global Markets franchise of Deutsche Bank. The teams in DB Centre are front office teams acting as virtual extensions of the trading desks in DB hubs like London, New York, Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo and Sydney.

About Second Order Risk Group (SRG)

SRG sits within the Fixed Income & Currencies Division of Deutsche Bank, and manages counterparty risk, legal risk, repudiation risk and event risk. The desk owns and manages risk across GFX Franchise and Platform businesses (FX Prime Brokerage, Listed Derivates, Clearing OTC and OTC Intermediation), globally.

Your key responsibilities

• Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Risk for Client Pitches and margin/legal terms negotiations in tandem with FIC Sales and Product teams
• Perform Due Diligence on Clients spanning Hedge Funds, Pension Funds, CTAs, Retail Aggregators and Corporate
• Develop risk frameworks to monitor risks across different platforms and client types
• Client level quantitative/trend analysis to monitor risk/revenue metrics, and identify optimization opportunities
• Track and Analyze Balance Sheet Consumption by Clients and Optimize Returns and Profitability
• Collaborate with Strats, IT and external vendors for advancement of Risk Infrastructure
• Collaborate with bank-wide teams to develop unique solutions and offerings for platform business like cross margining which leads to competitive advantage for DB in the market
• Track impact of Regulations on business like Uncleared Margining, FX Clearing etc.

Your skills and experience

• Strong academic background
• Knowledge of SQL, Python and FX Derivatives
• Entrepreneurial ability and willingness to drive change
• Good analytical skills, high attention to detail, solid organizational and interpersonal skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience of reporting to senior management
• Able to work independently, as well as in a team environment, prioritizing multiple tasks meeting strict deadlines
