Job Purpose
The individual will play a key role in supporting its Private Equity fund client. The professional will be closely working as an extended team member for the client and will assist them in accounting, investment due diligence, portfolio monitoring and investor reporting services.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze public and private companies, funds performance by going through monthly/quarterly financial reports/GP reports
- Tracking the performance of financial, operational and valuation KPIs of public and private companies on quarterly basis
- Validating fund valuation data such as investment cost, realized / unrealized value, gross / net multiple, gross / net IRR and financial KPIs such as revenue, EBITDA, net debt etc.
- Supporting on the entire process of data update/ingestion and valuation for existing and new accounts on excels and portfolio monitoring tools
- Supporting with review and reconciliation on output generated by software
- Coordinating with different teams to get right information on time and manage the client library tasks such as portfolio company details, fund financial statements
KEY COMPETENCIES
- Post-graduate / CFA / CA / MBA & equivalent
- 2 - 4 years of experience in relevant financial services experience preferably with private equity sector
- Experience with portfolio monitoring tools (like 73 strings, chronograph) is an added advantage
- Ability to work hands-on, delving into projects with a strong attention to detail and emphasis on producing a high-quality work product
- Ability to prioritize a large and varied workload, managing multiple tasks and details simultaneously
- Ability to show initiative, willingness to learn and take on responsibilities as contributing team member either in a lead or in a backup role to ensure team success
- Should be solutions focused and can work in unstructured environments under minimum or no supervision
- Knowledge of MS Office with hands on experience of advance excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
